Occasionally we put on a benefits for the Senior Centers. These are mainly big dance parties for us but is our way of letting the Center know that we appreciate the use of their dance floor. The dancers pay a small fee, we bring desserts and dance for about 4 hours. Of course we do stop for a few breaks but basically we fit as many of our favorite dances as we can into this time slot with quick "Walk Throughs". So far we have been working with Lloyd Wright who also teaches in the Lake County area. Some of his group from Buckingham and Hidden Valley come over and this adds to the fun. I do encourage any other groups, instructors or individuals to contact me and join us for these benefits. In December we do our Christmas Benefit for the Lakeport Senior Center and last year added Lucerne Center. As you can see from the pictures below, we do have a good time with this program. The dances that we have done during the year are put to Christmas music. We supply refreshments and invite the public to come. The small fee charged goes to the Senior Centers. This year the Sons of Italy donated their hall for our performance and all proceeds went to both Centers.
